Message On a street-driven performance car, you really want multi-link suspension front and rear, which we have. Few other cars have that. We have a very nice setup that controls wheel angles no matter how loaded any given tire might be.

The new 350Z has a lot of aluminum parts, and that's great, but I don't think it obsoletes the Z32 suspension. The things that really didn't age well were the bushing designs, IMO. The tension rod bushings and rear subframe bushings in particular. (I might add the transmission mount, although it is not a suspension component.)

Despite throwing new parts at the car, which generally improve things yet more, you are not changing the fundamental suspension design.

Most sports cars only wish they came with multilink suspension.

Caveat: If you are a drag racer, the suspension design does not work in your favor.
